  1. Byron Donalds supported President Trump’s decision to levy 25 percent tariffs on Mexican and Canadian goods and a 10 percent tariff on Chinese exports. 1

  2. The Joint Economic Committee Democrats found that American consumers paid more than $231 billion in total tariff costs between February 2025 and January 2026, an average of more than $1,700 per family. 2

  3. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not authorize the President to impose tariffs. 3
